Catching Flies

The old saying is “You catch more flies with honey.” A better way to catch flies is to cook lots of bacon and not clean your stove, and maybe stop flushing your toilet for a while.

Fruit flies are a good choice of insect to invite into your home. They are small, lightweight and they don’t bite unless you are a piece of fruit. Fruit flies are well respected in the insect kingdom. Keeping a few around will scare off other insects, and homes protected by fruit flies are generally offered a discount on home insurance premiums.
